45% Portugieser/Cabernet Dorsa 30% Dornfelder 12.5% Merlot 12.5% Bacchus
A blend of red & white grapes, this wine has a vibrant raspberry-red color and a light, refreshing, and lively taste, making it very easy to drink. Plenty of a fruity and herbaceous flavor, similar to fruit punch, and there's a light and barely noticeable tannin structure and low acidity. The aromas are intense and filled with notes of red berries, roses, and minerals.
Andi Mann is a young winemaker in Eckelsheim, Germany, who is rethinking traditional methods in the fields and cellars of his 10-hectare winery. He cultivates his vines holistically and uses minimal intervention in winemaking, striving to produce natural wines with openness and intensity of taste that reflect their origin. Andi is careful with his vines, allowing local sheep to wander through the vineyards and loosen the soil, and nurturing wild orchids that grow in the area. His vineyards are located on volcanic rock and limestone, which results in a diverse range of wine tastes.
