Today The Pele Tower in Corbridge is a unique venue selling quality craft ales, wines and spirits along with speciality coffees and teas. Originally known as ‘The Vicars Pele’, was the first of it’s kind. It was built in AD 1300 for the Vicar of Corbridge and was lived in as a fortified vicarage until the early 17th Century.

Local brewery Allendale have created thier own signature a beer.

A great selling pale ale, light and super easy drinking. Triple hopped with Cascade, Columbus and Citra hops for a juicy citrus flavour. Voted best UK Session IPA at the World Beer Awards.
